The team are continually sourcing the very best and luxurious fabrics- the prettiest laces to the softest of silks and satin- travelling the length and breadth of the country to handpick materials, fastenings and trims for their exclusive lingerie and nightwear collections. All Lucile pieces are checked rigorously by hand to ensure each piece is finished to the highest standard. Lucile lingerie is put through a rigorous fit process, designed to achieve the optimum style, shape and silhouette.   Lucile also guarantees exclusivity - with only a small number of each item produced you can be sure your lingerie is unique and designed to celebrate and enhance your figure in the best possible way.

The Lucile team believes that British designers and clothiers are amongst some of the finest in the world. Therefore, supporting our British manufactures and ateliers is an integral part of the Lucile ethos.  From the initial design process to the finished product – all manufacturing is undertaken in Great Britain.  Lucile care about the impact they have on the environment and are conscious of their carbon footprint, so feel extremely fortunate to be able to produce everything close to home.

Bespoke Lingerie

Lucile offer a private bespoke service for their clients.  Just as Lady Duff Gordon spent hours with a client ensuring the colour and fit were perfection, the Lucile team put the same dedication and passion into their private clients who chose a bespoke lingerie set or bespoke nightwear and loungewear to be specially made.  The perfect "honeymoon" set along with a host of luxury pieces have been created for private clients who want something that just does not exist.

From sourcing the fabrics, to dyeing the components, to fitting the pieces, a bespoke piece of lingerie from Lucile will be one of the most treasured pieces in any wardrobe.  Hours of pattern cutting, sampling and fitting, all with the upmost attention to detail go into bespoke lingerie and loungewear.
