Care Instructions

Now that you have found the perfect fit and style for you, it is important to care for your bra properly to maintain it’s shape and extend it’s lifespan. Here are a few tips that will ensure your lingerie lasts as long as possible:

Handwash

Delicate lingerie is extremely vunerable in the rough and tumble of the washing machine. Underwires can be bent, lose their shape or come out of the bra as they jostle about with other clothing whilst delicate fabrics can tangle, crease or shrink. We recommend that you handwash as much of your lingerie as possible by soaking them for half an hour in lukewarm, soapy water before rinsing clean and air drying. Putting delicate garments in the tumble dryer can damage the fabric causing them to lose their fit.

If the water is too hot, elastics can be brokendown and fabrics can shrink, whereas cooler water (especially for elasticated items) can ‘shock’ them back into shape.

If you must put your lingerie into the washing machine, clip the band together and lie it flat with your other lingerie in a mesh lingerie bag to protect it from other items in the dryer.
